Elissa Leighton is from the Tweed Coast and a proud Minjungbal woman from the Bundjalung nation on the East coast of Australia. Here is what Elissa had to say about her business baby that is FLYY BOD.

The idea of FLYY BOD. was birthed on two things that are super important to me - skin care and my culture. As a proud Bundjalung woman I wanted to honour and share some of what makes my culture and the First Australians culture so rich and beautiful with the rest of Australia. |

FLYY BOD. is face and body care that is all approved travel sizes, as a keen traveller myself I wanted to create something that is practical, beautiful and above all good quality. I was sick of either packing large bottle of body wash and skincare products from home to take with me while travelling or putting up with the hotel products that just leave your skin feel dry and dull!
Combining my two passion of skincare and culture was a no brainer for me and I'm so proud to be sharing some of our native ingredients with you all in our products. Over the past year I've been taking my time to formulate the best products including

Hey, I’m Elissa the founder of FLYY BOD. and I’m a proud Minjungbal woman from Bundjalung nation, located on the East Coast of Australia. Here’s my story about founding my lil business baby FLYY BOD….
My story about founding FLYY BOD. actually doesn’t start that long ago. I was over the daily grind of my office job because I’ve always been a creative soul and was looking for something different. Having always been passionate about my culture, skincare regime and travelling the world the idea for FYB. came naturally. I love my culture and I’m so proud of who I am, so I knew as long as I was doing something to honour my culture I would be happy.
FLYY BOD. is clean skin care made with some of Australia’s richest native ingredients and a splash of juicy n fruity flavours all in a little approved travel size bottle. Australia has some of the richest sources of Indigenous ingredients that just simply aren’t widely used or known about so that was my goal, to use some of our amazing bush tucker ingredients and bring a little bit more awareness to our rich culture.
I hope you love my lil travel products just as much as I do and I can’t wait to see them repped all around the globe!!
